I wanted to find out more about what these two drivers did and why Windows feels that its required for it to hand over audio control to Nvidia’s driver when I plug my PC into the TV. I already have an audio driver that came pre-installed from Realtek and wondered why the TV was using the Nvidia driver instead of the Realtek one. I had noticed that whenever I plug the TV into the laptop’s HDMI port, the audio gets transferred over to Nvidia’s High Definition Audio driver.
